Dr. Bindu Bansal
B.A.(Hons)-Maths, M.A.(Maths) , M.Phil (Maths), Ph.D. (Maths)
Dr. BinduBansal has done her graduation (Year1989) and post-graduation (Year 1991) in Mathematics from I.P. College for Women, Delhi University, Delhi. She completed her M.Phil in Mathematics from Delhi University in the year 1993. The title for her M.Phil dissertation was “Some Properties of the Spaces , 0<p<1”. She was conferred Doctorate of Philosophy by Delhi University in year 2003 for her Thesis titled “A Study of Certain Imbeddings of Weighted Sobolev Spaces”.
She started her teaching career from College of Vocational Studies, Delhi University in year 1993. Thereafter she served in Hindu College, I.P. College for Women and Miranda House in different capacities. Finally she joined Hindu College, Delhi University in 1997 as permanent faculty. During her teaching career she has taught subjects like Analysis, Alegbra, Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Liner Programming etc.
Her area of research is Functional Analysis. She has published various research papers on different areas of Functional Analysis in reputed International and National Research Journals. In addition to College teaching she is also engaged as Ph.D. Supervisor to guide research students at Delhi University.
