Dr. Jagdish Chander

Being a student of University of Delhi itself, Dr. Jagdish Chander joined the Department of Political Science at Hindu College in 1992 and subsequently earned his Ph.D. from Syracuse University  located at Syracuse, New York. he has been teaching courses primarily on Indian politics as well as United Nations and comparative politics. he has contributed several chapters in edited books published by leading international publishers like Rutledge, peter Lang,  University of Illinois press etc. He has been invited to deliver lectures in several places on topics related to Indian Politics as well as disability rights and issues relating to disability legislations and has presented papers in several national and international conferences.  he is currently engaged in writing the biography of late Shri Lal Advani, who is considered to be the father of modern rehabilitation services for the disabled in India.
