  1. Faculty and their research areas of interest (3-4 lines).

Area of Interest.

    Herpatofauna

    Vector Biology

    Gut Microbiology

My work mainly focus on conducting explorative surveys in less explored areas of North Eastern region of India to comprehend the diversity, distribution and conservation issues of the species and their habitats. The work includes documentation of Herpatofauna from grossly unexplored area North Eastern region. Hitherto, I had worked on vector borne diseases through combined field as well as molecular approach to understand the array of vector and pathogen diversity and device multi-disciplinary approach to reduce the disease risk.
