Dr. Ankur Shandilya

M.Sc. Ph.D.

Dr. Ankur Shandilya joined the Physics department of Hindu College as an Assistant Professor in Jan 2023. His Ph.D. degree was conferred in 2022 from the Department of Physics and Astrophysics, University of Delhi. His research interests are focused in the area of experimental condensed matter physics/materials science. Recent research involves synthesis of powders and ceramics of rare earth-doped inorganic phosphor materials and glass materials, extensive investigation for light upconversion properties useful for noncontact optical temperature sensing applications.
