Dr. Neetu has specialized in field of Allergy and immunology. She is proficient in various immunological, Biochemical and Molecular biology techniques. She worked at Institute of Genomics and Intergrative Biology, CSIR as JRF and SRF after her Masters in Zoology (2001) from Hansraj College, DU. She was conferred her doctorate of Philosophy by Delhi University in 2007 for her thesis entitled ‘Biochemical studies on Allergens of Epicoccum purpurascens’ . She has published six research articles and three review articles. She has presented her research findings at national as well as internal platforms and received Junior Members & Affiliates award from European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology for Outstanding poster presentation.Her teaching career commenced from Maitreyi College, Delhi University (Sept., 2006) where she taught undergraduate students of Delhi University as well as Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) students. Thereafter, she worked at Deshbandhu College before getting a permanent position at Hindu College. She joined Hindu College in 2009 as assistant professor and teaches Genetics, Biotechnology, molecular biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Immunology to undergraduate students. She has worked for central admission committee of college for thrice and is currently a member of Garden commitee.
