TEDxHinduCollege’s mission is to provide a platform for bite-sized talks that empower individuals, celebrate diverse ideas, and inspire positive change. We aim to curate and share impactful discussions, performances, and experiences that foster personal growth, ignite intellectual curiosity, and impact our community and beyond. Established in the year 2021, the vision of the society is to ‘Empower Ideas’, ‘Inspire Change’, and ‘Amplify the Voices of the Youth’! As an event organised by and for students, TEDxHinduCollege specialises in amplifying youth voices. The vision is to provide a platform where young minds can share their unique perspectives, insights, and ideas, inspiring their peers and the wider community. With this mission and vision, TEDxHinduCollege aims to create a dynamic and inclusive space for intellectual exchange, personal growth, and the spread of innovative ideas. By empowering individuals, celebrating diversity, and amplifying the voices of the youth, the event seeks to inspire positive change and make a lasting impact in our society. By tapping into the expertise of renowned individuals, TEDxHinduCollege ensures that the student community is exposed to diverse perspectives and experiences, fuelling intellectual curiosity and encouraging transformative thinking. TEDxHinduCollege is more than just its annual conference. Throughout the year, the society remains committed to inspiring change and spreading ideas through a myriad of activities both within the college and beyond. To spread ideas widely, TEDxHinduCollege utilises platforms like podcasts and a YouTube channel to reach a broader audience. It understands the importance of leveraging digital media to amplify its impact and inspire change beyond the confines of its physical events. These year-round activities, which include idea boards, collaboration with various TEDx speakers, and various podcasts, provide continuous opportunities for learning and engagement. In just two years since its inception, TEDxHinduCollege has risen to new heights, firmly establishing its presence and soaring high. Its remarkable journey is a testament to its unwavering commitment to spreading ideas, empowering individuals, and inspiring change. TEDxHinduCollege had a fantastic year with its 2nd annual conference, featuring more than eight renowned speakers, such as Navika Kumar, Gaurav Juyal, Ami Ganatara, and Vicky Sidana. The theme “In a Nutshell” aimed to deliver powerful ideas concisely. An Interactive Session with Sahiba Bali, Yuvraj Dua, and Kanishk Priyadarshi engaged over 400 students. The society’s idea board initiative provided a platform for students to ideate, aligning with TEDx’s mission. The Annual Theme Launch event attracted more than 150 students, unveiling the upcoming theme. TEDxHinduCollege’s various events emphasised spreading ideas, empowering students, and creating an intellectual community. Its successful year sets the stage for continued growth and impact. Its unique approach, innovative thinking, and dedication to excellence have set it apart, propelling it to the forefront of the Delhi University landscape. TEDxHinduCollege continues to chart new territories, influencing, growing, and leaving an indelible mark on the intellectual and cultural fabric of the university and beyond.
