Ibtida - The Dramatics Society

ABOUT US

Ibtida, the Dramatics Society of Hindu College, founded in 1991 by well-known director Imtiaz Ali, has continued its legacy of 32 years and continued to reach new heights. The society nurtures various forms of theatre ranging from regular and classical stage performances to the more spontaneous and thoughtfully improvised street plays. Over the years, Ibtida has gradually incorporated electronic multimedia into the performances and at the same time it also stands as one of the only colleges in Delhi university that still retains the old-world art of mime theatre.
